We're a passionate family of 3D printing enthusiasts based in Lubbock County. Our journey began at the onset of the Covid19 pandemic, and our love for 3D printing quickly transformed us from hobbyists, starting with a single Ender 5 Pro, into a thriving business. Today, we operate a compact print farm of 17 printers primarily featuring cutting-edge models from Creality, Prusa, Bambu, and Elegoo.

In selecting a name, we aimed for something distinctive and reflective of our core mission. Hence, we settled on 'Contrive3D.' As per definitions from Google and Oxford Languages, 'contrive' embodies the act of crafting an object with deliberate skill and workmanship – precisely our forte!

At Contrive3D, we specialize in the intentional creation of 3D prints, harnessing a combination of design expertise, modeling software, advanced 3D printers, and meticulous hands-on post-processing techniques.

Other things that set us apart:

• We are the only 3D business locally that will print with engineering grade filaments such as ASA, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, ABS, and Nylon
• Our primary filament choice is eco-friendly PLA (Polylactic Acid), derived from renewable resources and is fully biodegradable in industrial composting facilities.
• We predominantly utilize plant-based UV resin, crafted from raw materials and free from BPA.
• As a print-on-demand company, we minimize material waste by producing orders only as they are placed.
• Our in-house PLA recycling process significantly reduces landfill waste. Additionally, we extend this recycling service to local customers and those willing to ship their PLA to us.
• Every day, we actively seek ways to enhance our business, deliver higher-quality products to our clients, and minimize our environmental footprint.
