What Our Consultation Covers

Each consultation is structured to provide clarity and next steps for your project. Discussions may include:

Consultation Options

Phone Consultation (15 minutes) - No Cost
Ideal for initial project review and feasibility discussion.
We will assess your requirements and outline recommended next steps.

Virtual Consultation (15 - 30 minutes) - $50*
Conducted via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Best suited for reviewing CAD files, drawings, or technical documentation.

On-Site Consultation (30 minutes) - $125*
Available within Lubbock County at your place of business or shop. If you prefer a public place meetings will be held at Fred's Garage Coffee Shop in Shallowater.
Travel outside the county to your business or shop is billed separately based on distance.
On-site consultations are recommended when evaluating physical components, operational environments, or workflow integration.

*Consultation costs are billed after date and time is confirmed and must be paid at least 24 hours before the consultation appointment or the appointment will be canceled. Consultation costs are non-refundable.

What Happens After You Submit the Form

1. Your submission is reviewed within one business day.
2. If needed, we may request additional files or clarification.
3. A consultation time is confirmed based on availability.
4. During the consultation, we provide structured recommendations and next steps.

If your project is time-sensitive, please indicate urgency in your submission. Otherwise, consultation appointments are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays only and are typically 7 days out.

Response Time
All consultation requests are reviewed within one business day. If additional information or files are required prior to scheduling, our team will contact you directly. Please note that the consultation time is not confirmed until you get an email from support@contrive3d.com confirming the date, time, and location. After confirmation is made you will be sent an invoice, if applicable.
Consultation Scope
Consultations are intended to evaluate project feasibility, manufacturability, material selection, and potential production pathways.
While we provide technical guidance and preliminary cost ranges when possible, final pricing and lead times are subject to review, material availability, and project scope confirmation.
Facility Access
For safety, insurance, and operational compliance reasons, our production facility is not open for walk-in visitors or general tours.
On-Site Consultation Travel
On-site consultations within Lubbock County are available at the published rate. For locations outside Lubbock County, travel fees may apply and will be discussed during scheduling.
File Submission & Confidentiality
Clients are encouraged to submit CAD files, drawings, or reference materials in advance to ensure an efficient consultation.
All submitted files and project information are handled with professional discretion. If a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required, please indicate in your submission.
Shipping Physical Components (If Applicable)
If your project requires evaluation of a physical component (such as a damaged or discontinued part), you may ship the item to our listed mailing address after confirmation with our team.
Clients are responsible for shipping costs and tracking. Contrive3D is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Production Limitations
Consultations provide guidance on feasibility and manufacturing approach. Final production acceptance is subject to technical review, material compatibility, and capacity availability.
