Absolutely! We're passionate about creating custom 3D prints and designs. Provide us with the details and we will discuss the specifics. Please note that custom orders require a set up fee per customization. The total for this charge depends on the intricacy and detail. Set up fees range from $15-$50. This is often waived or discounted for simple customizations such as adding a name to a holiday ornament in a stock font.

We ship Worldwide! As long as you cover the shipping cost, we'll send your order anywhere. We typically use USPS to ship standard orders everywhere in the United States and UPS to ship large orders within the United States. For international shipping or alternative methods, please contact us for adjusted shipping charges.

Our standard turnaround time is 3-5 days for CAD file provided print service and 21 -30 days for part replication and custom figurines. It depending on the type of order and our queue length at the time of order placement. We will always keep you updated when you place an order or request an estimate. If there are any delays you'll be notified immediately.
Prototyping is a different animal completely as it requires, revisions, testing, and more.

We also offer rush options for those needing their prints sooner.

If you would like a non-functional model or figurine designed, we are happy to do it. Please note there is a $60/hour charge for modeling time with a minimum of $125. This does not include a printed product which has its own additional cost. Final print cost depends on project specifications, size, and details such as single color or multi-color.

This is priced on a case-by-case basis with a minimum for each tier. Regardless of the tier it is $60/hour for modeling, design, and labor. This does not include a printed product which has its own additional cost which depends on project specifications and size.

Tier Minimums:
1. Only Needs Testing/Do It Yourself - You have the CAD file and it only requires testing and possible adjustments $1,000

2. Completely Planned/You Have a Full Plan - Architectural Drawings given to use with specifics on exactly what to design : $2,500

3. Mostly Planned/Collaborative Effort - To-scale drawings that are not complete but will be completed along the way: $3,500

4. An Idea / Concepts of a Plan - Some drawings that are not to scale or no drawings at all : $5,000

**These are tier minimums and are not a guarantee that your project will cost exactly this amount. Pricing is based on revisions, design changes, research we have to do for your industry, testing, and more. To begin there is a 25% non-refundable deposit and you are charged throughout the process in phases/stages at the rate of 15% - 25% of the estimate.**

We offer rush options for those that need their orders sooner than our standard TAT. CAD file provided orders can typically be rushed for $25 - $100. Modeling orders can typically be rushed for $100-$500. It all depends on how quickly you need it! Contact us for more information.

Small:
With FDM we can only get so detailed and suggest MSLA/Resin printing for smaller and detailed prints. Our MSLA printers have a 12K mono LCD with a resolution of 11520x5120 and a XY Resolution of 19x24μm.

Large:
For MSLA printing our max size is 8.6" x 4.8" x 9.8"
For FDM printing our max size is 13.77" x 13.77" x 13.77"

Yes and no!
No, there is no minimum order quantity. We will print 1 item or thousands.
Yes, there is a minimum $25 order total, not including taxes, rush, or shipping.
Yes, there is a minimum order total for local pick up. All orders under $50 must be shipped. Only orders over $250 can be delivered.

Local pick up has been removed from the website and is still available for orders $50+ (before taxes/fees). If you prefer local pick up and your order will be over $50 you can contact us directly at support@contrive3d.com to place your order or fill out a form on the website.

At this time that is the only way to place a pick up order.

Currently we have a fleet of Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, and Elegoo printers in order to offer you FDM as well as MSLA/Resin printing services.

We haven't been approached by one we can't yet. Additive manufacturing is used to create parts in many industries including automotive, architectural, engineering, construction, security, dental, healthcare, and more.

However, due to the custom nature of each project and the many variables involved—such as tolerances we can't personally test, relying on client-provided measurements, or applications outside our area of expertise—we cannot guarantee that every part will perform exactly as intended in its final use. We strongly recommend thorough testing and validation on your end to ensure the parts meet your specific requirements.
If reprints, revisions, or adjustments are needed they will be calculated at that time and they are not included in the estimate you will receive initially.

We are located in Shallowater, TX which is outside of Lubbock and still within Lubbock, County.

We hate to say it but no, not at this time. Because of insurance and strict procedures we follow due to potential VOCs, we do not allow anyone around the printers without proper PPE.

Please note that we do not offer returns, cancellations, or exchanges on all items as all items are final sale and print to order. Handmade items may have slight color variations and size differences compared to approximate measurements.
